California Suite was his first composition. Where “officially” he premiered as a composer. It was a graduation gift from his “brother” Joseph Mastroianni who came to Spain from California to study guitar. It is a work with clear influences of Bach, Rachmaninov and Broadway style music. Interestingly, it is one of the most demanded works of Gallardo del Rey catalog.
