The Ribera Sàbat Duo is a formation composed of guitarists Maria Ribera Gibal and Jordi Sàbat Cots.

 

In their trajectory as a duo, which has already lasted more than 6 years, they have applauded them in leading festivals and music cycles in Spain and other European countries. They have recently made their first tour of China and Mongolia. It should also be noted that they have been winners of the Chamber Music Competition of the Elx Festival.

 

The two combine their concert activity with pedagogical practice and musical research. Jordi has a degree in philosophy and also composes; Maria is Doctor in Art History, having done a relevant thesis around Emili Pujol and the guitar.
