Master Class with one of the most relevant figures of the classical guitar of the national and international scene.

During these Master Class, attendees will have the opportunity to learn techniques, tips, and work routines that will help you to develop your skills and abilities, to achieve a higher level of interpretation.

These classes are recommended for guitar students and guitarists who want to know the concept of work and teaching of Alex Garrobé, and receive personalized suggestions as well as work routines, and tools to improve in technique and interpretation.






ALEX GARROBE

He offers concerts and recitals regularly in more than forty countries performing in Amsterdam, Paris, New York, Moscow, Madrid, Cairo, Helsinki or Beijing. He obtained the first prizes in the International Guitar Contest Infanta Cristina ( Guerrero Foundation 1989) and in the National Permanent Competition JJMM (1988).

He frequently collaborates with numerous orchestras performing the main concerts of the guitar repertoire. He has recorded for the labels Harmonia Mundi, Naxos, Opera tres and Columna Música paying special attention to the repertoire of the XX century. His interest in modern music has led him to pay as premier several guitar concerts such as the concert Mare Nostrum (1999) by Salvador Brotons, ... di soffio d'aura (2010) for guitar and orchestra by Agustín Charles or the Petrer Concert ( 2014) by Simone Ianarelli.

Doctor in History of Art and Musicology by the UAB, he works as a professor of guitar and chamber music at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). He has been a professor at the Higher Music Center of the Basque Country (Musikene) and the Higher Conservatori of the Balearic Islands. He is regularly invited to offer concerts, master classes and lectures at music institutions and universities in Germany, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China (National Conservatory), Colombia, Croatia, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, United States, Finland (Sibelius Academy), France, Holland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom (Guildhall School), Russia or Sweden.
