This is a special edition made on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the death of the composer Agustín Barrios.
The book derives from some forgotten manuscripts in a museum in San Salvador, these were discovered in 2005 by Frederick Sheppard, guitarist and expert on Agustin Barrios, famous composer and guitarist.
Federico obtained authorization from El Salvador to obtain information from the famous composer's diary.
Later, with the collaboration of guitarist Richard Pinnell, he was encouraged to produce this magnificent book.
It is a 440-page book in large format, size 210 x 297 mm (A4).
After a historical introduction, it contains the 147 pages in original size that Federico obtained from the diary of the extraordinary composer Barrios, this is complemented by numerous comments from admirers who enjoyed his concerts between the years 1932 and 1939.
We also found interesting documents related to the Jesuit schools where he carried out his first musical studies, maps of his travels through the American continent and other documents of great interest.
