Photographer Carlos Díaz de la Fuente approaches these artists in two ways: the first approach, through his personal vision captured by the camera, creating portraits of the subjects in various styles—ranging from fine art portraiture to techniques such as double exposures and light painting.

The other approach focuses on the inner self. The author uses the photo sessions to delve into the life of each musician. Thus, in addition to a brief biography of each subject, with key facts, the reader will find dozens of anecdotes from these fascinating lives, some of which have never been revealed before and appear here for the first time.

Famous composers such as Luis de Pablo, Cristóbal Halffter, and Antón García Abril, and performers such as pianist Joaquín Achúcarro, violinist Leticia Muñoz Moreno, conductor Josep Pons, and violagambist Jordi Savall, have posed for his camera and are featured in this work, which showcases the recent past, the present, and the near future of our musical history.
