Guitar Manuel Contreras 10th Anniversary - 2005
This is the top ange model from Manuel Contreras workshop. The materials used are exquisite, special selected Madagascar Rosewood for back and sides and a German spruce of the highest quality for the top. This 10th Anniversary model is featured by its innovative double back, which allows the first back of the guitar to resonate freely, while the second back prevents the muting of the sound produced by the contact of the instrument with the guitarist himself.
Specifically, this guitar belonged to the great Maestro Guitarist and Composer José María Gallardo del Rey, with which he gave recitals on the best stages around the world and with which he recorded, among others, the following CDs "The Trees speak", "My Spain" and "14 ways to miss you"
The guitar is in perfect conditions of use, with all its original and intact materials and with the original varnish from 2005. It only shows the obvious marks of use, from a traveler and concert guitar like few others.
The sound can be appreciated through the recordings of Maestro Gallardo del Rey. It is a deep, clear and colorful sound, with exceptional sustain and very rich in harmonics.
It has very good projection and fills any sized concert hall.
A unique opportunity to get hold of a guitar of excellent quality and original from one of the most relevant master guitarists on the national and international scene.
