A magical and unforgettable night that we lived on 9^th April in Guitarras de Luthier with Maestro Leo Brouwer. His words, anecdotes, experiences and vast culture, filled us with enthusiasm and even greater passion for our beloved guitar.

 

"If we stay forty-eight hours straight without music, there would be a global catastrophe," Leo Brouwer.

 

To celebrate his 75^th anniversary Leo Brouwer travelled to Europe and in his transit through Spain as a courtesy he offered exclusively for Guitarras de Luthier a talk musically illustrated with his own works, performed by great promises of guitar: Mabel Millán, Javier Garcia and Deion Cho.

 

Recognized as one of the great figures of contemporary guitar, his extensive work and artistic depth have deserved him international reputation, backed by the highest institutions.

 

Guitarras de Luthier will have available a wide selection of sheet music by Leo Brouwer , published by his label Ediciones Espiral Eterna , with works of recent years : The Harp and the Shadow , Variations on a Theme of Victor Jara, Sonata del Caminante Nº 2 and the black decameron Nº 3, among others.
