José María Gallardo del Rey will present a new Double CD compilation with some new songs to celebrate his first 50 years with the guitar.

The event will be presented by Ángel Sánchez Manglanos (La Guitarra, RNE) and José María Velázquez-Gaztelu (Nuestro Flamenco, RNE.), who will draw us a semblance of the guitar career of Gallardo del Rey in his dual role as soloist and composer.

 
During the presentation, José María will perform some of his best known pieces and some of the new songs included in the CD published by Universal.
 
Jose María Gallardo del Rey is currently the most requested guitar soloist and programmed by orchestras around the world. Directors and musicians unanimously confirm him as a reference guitarist.
 
International venues in which he has performed as soloist, composer, conductor or chamber musician include Carnegie Hall, Tokyo Opera House, Vienna Konzerthaus, Théatre de Champs Elysées and Opéra Comique in Paris, Bucharest Athenaeum, Walt Disney Auditorium in Los Angeles, Sadlers Wells and Cadogan Hall in London, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Palau de la Musica de Valencia, Seoul Concert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Osaka Concert Hall and Auditorio di Roma.
